CareDirector is offered on premise or in a hosted environment. If hosted in the US, we provide this service through our hosting partner, Project Hosts. Project Hosts is based in Pennsylvania, with redundant hosting services provided in California. Project Hosts is ISO 27001 certified and also compliant with the FISMA standards recommended by NIST. CareDirector also uses AWS and Azure.
CareDirector maintains helpdesk protocols that are in line with the internationally recognized ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Framework, which is specifically for Service operations.
CareDirector has sophisticated security configuration facilities that use a combination of business units and security roles to determine the information and functionality available to each user within CareDirector.
Dashboards & Reporting:
CareDirector allows users to create customized, ad-hoc reports on the information contained in all participant fields, both on the dashboards on a user’s homepage and within the specific reporting section. The reports section of CareDirector allows users to create and run reports on all the information contained within the person’s record.
CareDirector provides the facility to capture client/participant information through either a portal, integration with another system or through the manual entry of details. Information recorded currently includes demographics, employment, education, health and medical information, medications and their administration, related persons, financial information, spend down, eligibility, funding sources, allergies, and much more.
Finance and Finance Integration:
CareDirector can handle both services delivered by direct care staff within your organization, as well as claims submitted by providers. The system provides the facility to capture client/participant information through either a portal, integration with another system or through the manual entry of details. CareDirector also supports electronic (ANSI 837) formats and 835 for Electronic Remittance functions with the ability to import Electronic Remittance Advice in ANSI 835 format from intermediaries. CareDirector has the ability to correct claim errors as part of the claims processing function and the ability for the Collections Manager to manage the claims & account collection process.
Information, Advice & Guidance Portals:
CareDirector’s consumer portal empowers clients and their families or guardians (care givers) to actively participate in their care. CareDirector’s provider portal allows payers to easily interact with their provider network partners, eliminating the need for most paper transactions and removing much of the effort to maintain current and accurate provider information on an agency’s pubic facing web site via CareDirector’s Resource Directory.
As part of CareDirector’s modular platform, we offer the stand-alone CareDirector Connect mobile application. This allows workers to spend less time on paperwork and more time with the people they serve. CareDirector Connect can easily integrate with an agency’s existing health and human service system or it can be part of an entirely new technology modernization initiative as agencies replace old systems with CareDirector’s comprehensive platform.

CareDirector saves hours of staff time every week recording information because data needs to be entered only once. Much of the initial data entry can be completed by customers and their family members, saving as much as four hours per worker, per case in the initial phase alone. CareDirector automatically copies relevant emails, calendar appointments into a customer’s care record.
As a modern, web-based application, CareDirector offers the ability to access the full system in real time from within the main office, a satellite office, home and on the move, in any location with wireless access. This is achieved using a Browser over the Web and is typically done on a Laptop style device.
Users also have the ability to access the full system whilst offline, typically from home, a remote location, or at a satellite office with no network connection. Full system offline working is achieved using Microsoft Outlook operating on Laptop type devices.
